Nevada Men’s Golf Announces Spring Schedule

RENO, Nev. - The University of Nevada Men's Golf program and Head Coach Trake Carpenter have officially announced a challenging and exciting 2023 spring slate, consisting of five regular-season tournaments in addition to the Mountain West Championships.

"I am excited to announce our spring schedule, which is filled with both great weather and competition," said Carpenter. "A couple of stops will be familiar sites for our program historically, so I am excited to see how we improve throughout the spring leading up to the Mountain West Championships."

The Pack will begin their spring season with a one-day, 18-hole head-to-head match against Marquette at the Palm Valley Golf Club in Goodyear, Arizona. Nevada is scheduled to face off against the Golden Eagles on Saturday, February 4.

The Pack will make the trip to Lihue, Hawaiʻi to compete in their first tournament of the spring season at the John A. Burns Intercollegiate, hosted by the University of Hawaiʻi. The three-day tournament will be played at The Ocean Course at Hokuala, beginning on Thursday, February 16 and concluding on February 18.

Nevada will then head to Southern California to participate in the Lamkin San Diego Classic from March 6-7. The tournament will be hosted by Mountain West foe, San Diego State, and will be played at the San Diego Country Club in Chula Vista.

The Pack will return to California in three and a half weeks to compete at The Goodwin Intercollegiate, hosted by Stanford. The three-day event will begin on March 30 and will be held in San Francisco.

Nevada will make the trip to Columbia, Missouri for their first tournament in the month of April, where the Pack will take part in the Tiger Collegiate Invitational, hosted by the University of Missouri. The event will begin on April 10 and conclude the following day.

Nevada will wrap up their regular season slate 10 days later at the PING Cougar Classic in Provo, Utah, hosted by BYU. The tournament will be played at the Riverside Country Club, beginning on Friday, April 21. The Pack will close out tournament play the following day.

Nevada will then head to Tucson, Arizona to compete in the 2023 Mountain West Championships. The tournament will be held at the Omni Tucson National Golf Club and will span from Friday, April 28 to Sunday, April 30.
