Davis, Calif. - Nevada Men's Golf continued play at the El Macero Classic, Saturday, posting a three under-par 285 to move to two over-par total and up four places into second.

Monte Chumchaivate leads the way for the Pack through two rounds, he was one of three Nevada players to shoot two under-par 70's in round two. Chumchaivate played a very clean round of golf, making one bogey on the day offset by three birdies, two of those on the last five holes. He sits second in the field for par four scoring and third overall on the leaderboard at two under-par. 

Riki Matsumoto and Liam Gobin both shot two under-par 70's in round two, with Gobin's a roller-coaster round that included five bogies, three birdies and two eagles in the last four holes. Gobin sits third in the field for par five scoring, playing the fives in five under-par through 36 holes. Matsumoto's round also included a finishing flurry, making three of his five total birdies in the final four holes, he leads the field in par three scoring heading into the final round. The pair sit in a tie for 13th heading into the final round. 

Ben Ortwein and Aaron Leach both posted second rounds of three over-par 75. Leach played a solid two under-par front nine but struggled to keep the bogies off the card on the back nine. Ortwein had more of a balanced day, making two birdies and five bogies. Ortwein sits right outside the top 20, in 21st, whilst Leach sits in 39th heading into the final round. 

The Pack will return for the final round tomorrow in search of their second win of the season.
