PEBBLE BEACH, Calif. - Nevada Men's Golf opened its fall finale Monday, wrapping up the first round of the Saint Mary's Invitational at Poppy Hills Golf Club in Pebble Beach, Calif.

The Wolf Pack closed the day at nine-over (293) on the Par-71 setup, good for tied for ninth. Trey Davis led the way with a 70, ending the day tied for 12th. Tom Patterson shot a 73 while Peyton Callens and Keita Okada each carded a 75 to wrap the scoring rounds for the Pack. Connor Motherway rounded out the lineup with a 78.

Davis rebounded well from an early triple bogey at the par-5 No. 4 to go three-under the rest of the way. He would card five birdies, and bookended his round with birdies at Nos. 1 and 18.

Patterson sank an eagle 3 at the par-5 No. 10 to boost his round, finishing the day tied for 37th.
