RENO, Nev. - The first Mountain West titles are up for grabs, and Nevada Swim & Dive hosts action at Lombardi, this weekend on campus. Nevada Cross Country heads to Laramie for the 2022 Mountain West Championships, while Nevada Soccer goes for a Silver State Series win when it travels to UNLV Thursday.

Nevada (2-6, 0-4 MW) heads to the Bay Area on its penultimate road trip of the regular season, visiting San José State Saturday night. Saturday's contest kicks off at 7:30 p.m. and will be aired on CBS Sports Network, with Dave Ryan (play-by-play) and Donte Whitner (analyst) on the call.
The Wolf Pack Radio Network will call the game as well on ESPN 94.5 FM with John Ramey (play-by-play) and Mike Edwards (analyst) in the booth, with the 60-minute pregame show to begin at 6:30 p.m.
CROSS COUNTRY
The men's and women's cross country teams round out their season this Friday, October 28 with the Mountain West Championships in Laramie, Wyoming. The women will compete first in the 6K at 9:15 a.m. PT, with the men following immediately after at 10:00 a.m. PT. The championship will be a competitive field for both teams, a total of five men's and women's team nationally ranked. For the women, New Mexico is currently ranked second, just 11 points behind no. 1 North Carolina State, while Colorado State is ranked 20th, with Air Force, Boise State, Utah State, and Wyoming receiving votes. On the men's side, Air Force holds the highest spot in the conference, sitting at fifth, moving up seven spots from the last poll. Utah State is ranked 24th and Colorado State 28th.Â
Last time the Pack saw competition was mid-October, at the Bronco Invitational in Sunnyvale, California, hosted by Santa Clara. 20 out of the 27 athletes who raced earned new personal records. Senior

WOMEN'S SOCCERÂ
Nevada wraps up the 2022 season at UNLV for the Silver State Series on Thursday at 7 p.m. The Pack has been victorious against UNLV in their previous two meetings with the Rebels, shutting out UNLV last season.Â
Despite a 1-0 loss to Colorado College on Sunday, the Pack's fans showed out in the final home match of the season. Sunday's attendance of 503 was the ninth-highest attendance for a Nevada women's soccer match in the last decade.Â
UNLV has won or tied five out of its last six matches, collecting a pair of draws against Air Force and Colorado College. The Rebels shut out San Diego State 1-0, who is currently in second place in the Mountain West with 17 points.Â

VOLLEYBALL
Nevada volleyball will go on the road to face the New Mexico Lobos and the Air Force Falcons. The Pack will meet the Lobos on Thursday, Oct. 27, at 5:30 p.m. PT. The game against the Falcons will take place on Saturday, Oct. 29, at 10 a.m.
The Pack is currently sitting in eighth place on the conference standings. Kayla Afoa, Gabby McLaughlin, Andrea Alcaraz, Hikialani Kaohelaulii, Jordan Schwartz, and Bella Snyder continues to represent the Pack in the Conference individual rankings.Â
Afoa is ranked fourth in the kills category with 315, averaging 3.80 kills per set. McLaughlin is also ranked ninth in the kills category with 267, averaging 3.22 kills per set. The freshman is also in the rankings for service aces, as she sits in second place with 31.Â
Senior Alcaraz is also ranked in the assists and digs categories of the conference's leaders. Alcaraz sits in sixth with 659 assists and 10th with 262 digs. Kaohelaulii is ranked third in the digs category with 341.
Freshman Schwartz continues to impact the net for the Pack as she is ranked sixth in the blocks category with 91 total blocks. Snyder has also made an appearance in the ranking as she sits in seventh, with 73.Â

SWIM AND DIVE
Nevada swim and dive will be hosting the first home meet of the season on Saturday, Oct. 29. The squad will face the Fresno State Bulldogs starting at 11 a.m.Â
The Pack had a strong start to the season with a 4-0 record. The past weekend, Nevada came out on top against Cal State East Bay, 183-78, and UC Davis, 140-120.Â
The meet against the Bulldogs will be the first meet for the diving squad. Fans can follow the meet results on Meet Mobile and watch the meet here.Â
