Biography
GRADUATE (Fall 2022) - Competed in five races this season... Placed fourth at the Nevada Twilight Classic in the 5.7k in 22:25... Ran the second-fastest time for Nevada in a time of 22:05, earning 62nd place, third-fastest time for the women on the course... Finished in 19th place at the Bronco Invitational in a time of 20:38, the third-fastest all-time for Nevada on the course, and a new personal best... Saw the highest finish for Nevada at the Mountain West Championship, in 21st place, in a time of 20:34.5, dropping 4 seconds and earning a new personal best... Ran a 20:54.9 at the NCAA Mountain Regional Championships, her third-fastest time of the season, placing 34th.
PRIOR TO NEVADA - Began her college career at Scripps College (Claremont Mudd Scripps)... Received her Bachelors degree in Linguistics... Ran cross country and track and field (2018-2022)... Was the NCAA cross country runners up in 2021... SCIAC champion in both cross country and track (2018-2022)... Cross country west region team champion (2018-2021)... Cross country All-America with 26th place (2021)... Indoor track national qualifier in 3000m in ninth place (2022)... Outdoor track All-America 500m in seventh place (2022)... SCIAC champion in the 5000m (2022)... Two time cross country all-conference and cross country all-west region.
HIGH SCHOOL - Graduated from Manzano HS as a Salutatorian and a National Merit Scholar... Three-sport athlete in cross country (2014-2017), swimming (2014-2016), and track and field (2015-2018)... Received all-state cross country in 2017... Took fifth place in the 3200m and third place in the 1600m at the state championships in 2018... Apart of National Honor Society, Model United Nations, and the Middle East Studies Association.
PERSONAL - Daughter of Stephen and Robyn Clarke... Has a sister Abigail who is currently on the Nevada cross country team... Father ran cross country and track and field at NAU... Majoring in political science... Chose Nevada because the location, the team and the coaches... Was being recruited by Colorado State and Oregon State... Her sports hero is Courtney Frerichs... Most memorable moment in her career was finishing second at Cross Country Nationals by two points at Scripps College... Enjoys hiking, reading, and cooking in her free time.
