RENO, NV. - The Nevada swimming and diving team opens the 2019-20 season on Friday, Sept. 27 when the Wolf Pack travels to Pullman, Washington. The relay meet is being hosted by Washington State with Idaho and San Diego State also joining Nevada in the pool. The competition on Friday will begin at 5:00 pm PT.
Not only will the Pack be competing in the relay meet with three other schools, but Nevada will stick around Pullman for a dual meet with Washington State on Saturday, Sept. 28 at 10:00 am PT.
Both meets will be a swim only, with Friday being a relay style with ten events on the schedule. The events are 150 butterfly, 150 backstroke, 150 breaststroke, 800 freestyle, 500 ladder freestyle, 400 medley, 200 freestyle, 1200 freestyle, 4x100 IM and 400 freestyle. The dual meet on Saturday will feature traditional events.
Nevada welcomes eight newcomers to the roster for the 2019-20 season. The Wolf Pack added depth on the swim side with six true freshmen in

Jessie Nowotny. Joining the freshmen are two transfers in
Ileah Doctor from Indiana and
Gianni Pitto from Liberty.
While adding several to the roster, the Pack returns ten 2019 Mountain West All-Conference team members in senior
