Heydra and Pholjamjumrus Earn Mountain West Weekly Honors

RENO, Nev. – Nevada Swim and Dive continued to shine as redshirt senior Bailey Heydra and freshman Moji Pholjamjumrus were each recognized with Mountain West weekly honors following dominant performances at the Phill Hansel Invitational in Houston.

Heydra was named Mountain West Diver of the Week for the third time this season after sweeping both springboard events. She scored 303.45 points in the 1-meter and 331.60 points in the 3-meter, securing NCAA qualifying marks in both. Her victories helped the Wolf Pack secure a fourth place finish out of 11 teams at the prestigious meet.

Pholjamjumrus earned her third Mountain West Freshman of the Week award after a breakout showing in Houston. She posted NCAA Automatic Qualification Times in three individual events, all of which currently led the Mountain West:
  • 200 IM: 1:58.70 (MW-leading, ranked 50th nationally)
  • 400 IM: 4:10.97 (MW-leading, ranked 39th nationally, event champion)
  • 200 Fly: 1:55.75 (MW-leading, ranked 21st nationally, event champion)
In addition to her four individual races, Pholjamjumrus contributed to three relays, underscoring her versatility and impact for the Wolf Pack.

Nevada returns to action December 3rd to the 6th in Austin Texas for the Toyota U.S. Open as they are looking to build on the momentum from Houston as the Pack continues its push toward the rest of the season.
