Biography

2019-20 (Sr.): Named one of the 2019-2020 captains of the Wolf Pack…Was the top scorer for Nevada at the Mountain West Championship and tied for third overall at the meet…Scored 86 points as an individual and posted 220 points when combined with the relays she was a member of…Reached the medal podium seven times with one gold, four silver and two bronze medals… A member of the 200-medley relay that notched the highest finish in program history and set a new school record at the Mountain West Championships… Helped the Pack go undefeated in conference dual meets and 6-2 on the season…Recorded 13 individual wins just in dual meets on the season… Moved up to third all time in the 100 and 200 freestyle at Nevada… Named MW Swimmer of the Week the first week of the season … Recorded all-conference honors ... Was named the 2020 Wolf Pack Scholar Athlete of the Year while also collecting the Ruth Russell Award. 

2018-19 (Jr.): Was one of the most decorated swimmers for the Wolf Pack during her junior season … Notched new career bests in the 100 free with a time of 49.68, in the 200 free with a time of 1:46.82 and in the 200 IM with a time of 1:58.49 … Also had season best times in the 200 fly at 2:02.42 and 100 fly with a 53.33 … Her 200 fly time is good for second all-time … Won 15 individual events in the season, a team high along with being named Mountain West Swimmer of the Week twice … Took the podium five-times at the 2019 Mountain West Championships with two gold medals, three silvers and a fourth place … Was a member of the 800 free relay the defended the gold from the 2018 championships … Claimed gold in the 200 IM with a time of 1:59.04 … Received silver medals in the 200 free, 200 free relay and 400 free relay before taking fourth in the 100 free … Tallied all-conference honors … Letter winner.

2017-18 (So.): Competed in all eight of the Pack’s regular season events as well as the Mountain West Championships, where she tallied a team-high total of 14 individual victories on the year … Earned All-Conference honors in the 100 and 200-yard freestyle, and the 200-yard IM, participating in the A finals in all three events … Named Mountain West Swimmer of the Week two times throughout the season, more than any other swimmer in the conference … Recorded a Husky Invite record of1:59.20 in the 200-yard IM, which ranks third in program history … Part of Nevada’s 800-yard freestyle relay team that won the program’s first relay at the conference meet since joining the MW … Moved into fourth in the 200-yard freestyle on Nevada’s all-time list with her time of 1:47.30 at the Husky Invite … Swept all five individual events she competed in against conference foes Boise State and Fresno State … Won the Pack’s only event against perennial national powerhouse California with her 51.07 time in the 100-yard freestyle … Letter winner.

2016-17 (Fr.): Joined the Pack at the semester break, competing in a total of three meets, including the MW Championships … Named to the All-Mountain West team for her performances in the 200-yard IM and freestyle at the conference meet … Part of the Pack’s 400 and 800-yard freestyle relay teams that recorded team-best times of 3:18.48 and 7:07.78, respectively, and each placed second at the MW Championships … Tallied a total of five top three finishes in the eight events she swam in … Placed in second in all three events she competed in against San Jose State in her first appearance with Nevada … Posted season-best times in the 100-yard (50.12) and 200-yard (1:48.68) freestyle, as well as the 200-yard IM (2:00.57) at the MW Championships, swimming in the A and B finals of all three events … Individually contributed 65 points towards Nevada’s score at the MW Championships … Helped lead Nevada to a split dual meet victory against Boise State and NAU … Letter winner.

PRIOR TO NEVADA
Placed sixth in the 4x200 freestyle at the 2013 World Junior Championships in Dubai … Set a championship record in the 4x100 freestyle at the 2015 South America Championships … Has a background of world-class experience, where a large number of swimmers from her club represented Brazil in the Olympics… Reason for choosing Nevada: “I chose Nevada mostly because of the Wolf Pack swimming team and because of Coach Bray. It seems that everyone is part of a big family of passionate and hard-working athletes – a family that also welcomes a lot of international students.”
