RENO, Nev. - The Nevada men's and women's cross country teams are set to race in Sacramento, Calif. this weekend at the Capital Cross Challenge. The meet attracts teams of all age groups and levels to race at the Arcade Creek Golf Course. 

On Friday afternoon, the team is set to arrive by bus to their hotel to eat and prepare for the meet. Then on Saturday morning, the teams head to the course where they then will split off in to their race groups. 
 
At 9:40 a.m. some of our men will compete in the 8k College Invite Section followed by the 8k Open College Men's Section at 10:10 a.m. Starting at 10:40 a.m. is the Women's College 6k Invite Section and finally the Women's 6k Open Section at 11:05 a.m. 

Nevada is racing 21 athletes this weekend after a month of training following their win at the Bonanza Casino Nevada Twilight Classic in August. This will be the second race where Nevada will have a men's team participate along-side the women's team after their historic return to Nevada athletics.
