WOLF PACK HITS THE ROAD TO FACE NEW MEXICO

Nevada is set to take on New Mexico this weekend for the second time this season after taking the first series when the Lobos came to Reno ... All three games will be broadcast live on the Mountain West Network ... Live stats will be available on SIDEARM Stats ... There will be no radio broadcast during the weekend ... The Pack's midweek contest against San Francisco will also be broadcast live, streamed on TheW.tv ... Live stats will again be available during that contest ... When Nevada faced the Lobos at home this year, they took two out of three games to win its first conference series of the year ... The Wolf Pack took the first game of that series thanks to four different Pack players recording an RBI, as Weston Hatten led the team with two ... As the Lobos took the second game, Nevada came out on top with the rubber match as freshman Tyler Smith picked up his first-career win ... Nevada scored five of its six runs in the first three innings, highlight by a Joshua Zamora solo shot to left field ... Nevada defeated San Francisco earlier this year as well by a score of 7-3, where Zamora homered again and Dillan Shrum recorded a season-high four RBI including a bases-clearing triple ... Currently in a breakout season, Jaylon McLaughlin leads Nevada with a .357 batting average and 14 stolen bases ... His .396 batting average in conference play is fourth in the Mountain West and tops on the team ... He leads the Pack with seven three-hit games, and has recorded nine in his last four games ... Joshua Zamora and Dillan Shrum have had two of the most powerful bats in the conference, as each have smacked seven homers this year ... Five of Shrum's have come in conference play, the most hit among MW players ... New Mexico currently ranks second in the conference with a team batting average of .288, but ranks dead last in the Mountain West with a team ERA of 6.21 ... Nevada leads the conference with 26 homeruns as a team ... Nevada's Friday starter in Ryan Anderson is third in the conference with 49 strikeouts and ninth in ERA at 3.28 ... His four wins are tied for second on the conference.
