2019 (Jr.): Took over as Nevada’s Friday starter in 2019, making 14 starts and tossing a team-high 70.2 innings pitched … Was drafted in the 12th round of the 2019 MLB Draft by the New York Yankees … His 4.84 ERA was a career-best and ranked as the 12th-lowest in the Mountain West … Ranked seventh in the conference with a career-high 64 strikeouts … Finished with a career-high four wins in 2019 and eight in his career along with three saves … Pitched 130.2 frames as part of the Silver & Blue with 122 career punchouts and an opposing batting average of .280 … His best start came at Long Beach State, when he tossed seven hitless innings with 11 strikeouts as Nevada earned the 1-0 victory … Anderson was named the MW Pitcher of the Week for that performance, the first of his career … Lettered for the third time.

2017 (Fr.): Appeared in 13 games during the season, going 1-1 in five midweek starts in his freshman campaign … Earned his first collegiate win at Sacramento State (5/2), pitching a career-high five innings and allowed three runs on seven hits … Struck out 17 batters compared to only walking 11 … Helped the Wolf Pack earn the fourth and final seed in the Mountain West Championship … Lettered for the first time.

Majoring in business … Son of Scott and Lisa Anderson … His father Scott pitched the first ever game at Peccole Park and his mother Lisa played volleyball for the Pack … Sister Lyndsey Anderson was a standout volleyball player for the Wolf Pack from 2013-16 … Enjoys playing golf, tennis, going to Lake Tahoe, and spending time with family and baking.
