NAMPA, Idaho  – The Nevada women's track and field team wrapped up its indoor regular season today at the Boise State Team Challenge. Leading the Wolf Pack's competitors were sophomore
Agnese Mulatero and freshman
Emily Costello. Mulatero moved into seventh all-time at Nevada in the 60 meter hurdles, while Costello moved up to seventh in the 60m dash.

The Pack as a group had a strong day in the 60m dash, with all four participants advancing to the finals. Leading the way was freshman
Emily Costello, who's time of 7.64 put her at seventh all-time at Nevada. Senior
Makeya White and freshman
Cece Stevenson were not far behind her with respective times of 7.79 and 7.86. Sophomore
Gifty Nkansah rounded out the Nevada competitors with a time of 7.92.

In the finals, Costello finished with the top time of 7.65. White came in third with a time of 7.75. Stevenson and Nkansah both earned personal records with respective times of 7.77 and 7.89.

All three participants in the 60m hurdles advanced to the finals as well. Sophomore
Agnese Mulatero led the way with a time of 8.84. Right behind her was junior
Andrea Stark with a personal record time of 8.89. Sophomore
Nicola Ader rounded out the squad with a time of 8.89.

Mulatero took second in the finals, moving into seventh all-time at Nevada with a time of 8.68. Stark took fifth with another personal record time of 8.85, and Ader took sixth with a time of 8.89.

Kicking off the day of competition was the shot put. The Wolf Pack landed two athletes in the top five; freshman
Gaia Osborne took second with a 41' 0.5" (12.51 m) toss, while sophomore
Tina Lao took fifth with a distance of 40' (12.19 m).

In the pole vault, junior
Gaby Palmer and senior
Emily Etter took the top two spots. Palmer cleared 12' 10" (3.91 m) to take first, before bowing out. Etter reached 12' 6" (3.81 m) to take second. Freshman
Grace Ericson set a new personal record of 11' 0.25" (3.36 m) to finish seventh.

Nevada saw all four of its competitors in the 800m put up indoor personal records. Senior
Zanae Jones and junior
Claire Crowley finished fifth and sixth, with respective times of 2:15.51 and 2:17.98. Freshmen
Kalia Pfeffer and
Shelby Garrison topped their previous times with 2:20.15 and 2:23.38 finishes, respectively. The freshmen finished 10th and 19th in the 42-person field.

The Wolf Pack sprinters saw more success on the day, with three Nevada runners landing in the top 10 of the 200m. Costello's time of 24.53 put her at second in the 68-person field. Behind her
Lauren Green and
Cece Stevenson with times of 25.70 and 25.79, respectively. The pair finished ninth and 10th, with both times representing personal records.

Sophomore
Lauryn Massic shattered her 3,000m personal record of 10:41.33, winning her heat with a time of 10:24.61. The time was good for 13th in the 52-person field.

In the long jump, sophomore
Kayla Afoa took fourth in the 24-person field with a jump of 18' 0.5" (5.5 m). The Fraser twins both landed in the top six of the triple jump.
Gabby Fraser took fourth with a jump of 37' 11.5" (11.57 m), while
Denver Fraser took sixth with a personal record jump of 36' 9.5" (11.21 m).

In the 400m, sophomore
Lauren Green took fourth overall with a time of 57.72. Fellow sophomore
Brooke Carson took 11th with a time of 59.23.

The Wolf Pack had three competitors in the high jump, and each of them finished in the top 11. Leading the way was Etter, with a height of 4' 11.75" (1.52 m) to finish tied for sixth. Freshman
Avery Lauf finished 10th with a personal record height of 4' 11.75" (1.52 m). Afoa tied for 11th with a height of 4' 9.75" (1.47 m).

The weight throw saw Lao record a personal record distance of 39' 10.5" (12.15 m). In her first collegiate meet, freshman
Kylee Stevens-Sam finished with a distance of 39' 6.5" (12.05 m).

The Wolf Pack wrapped up the day with the 4x400m relay. The Nevada "A" team of Costello, Green, Stark and Carson finished with a time of 3:58.53 to come in fifth place. The "B" team of Garrison, Jones, Pfeffer and Stevenson took a time of 4:04.84 to finish ninth.

Next up for the Wolf Pack is a trip to Albuquerque, N.M. for the Mountain West Indoor Championships from Feb. 21-23.
