Reno, Nev. - Nevada Track and Field took home two Mountain West honors following the first week of indoor track and field competition.
Annalies Kalma earned Women's Track Athlete of the Week honors, following her school record setting 400m time of 52.73 at the Silver State Invitational, that time was also the meet and facility record. Kalma also ran the anchor leg for the Nevada 4x400m relay team that ran a 3:40.56, the new #3 4x400m time in program history.
Malena Galvan earned Women's Freshman of the Week honors, her 400m time of 56.31 at the Silver State Invitational sits first in the NCAA for freshman. Galvan also ran the first leg of the 4x400m relay team that ran the #3 time in program history.
