Reno, Nev. - Nevada Track and Field concluded competition at the Silver State Invitational and Combined Events, Saturday, highlighted by Annalies Kalma setting a new indoor 400m school record. 

The 60-meter hurdles kicked off competition at the Silver State Invitational and Combined Events, with Misa Holland the best performer for the Pack, setting a new personal best 60-meter hurdles time of 9.01 seconds, the 15th best time in the field. Savana Chalmers was next best in 26th with a time of 9.70 seconds. 

Next up was the 60-meter dash, where Johanna Haas and Vivian Groppe ran for the Pack. Haas was the best finisher for the Pack, finishing 21st with a time of 7.77 seconds, just 0.02 seconds off of her personal best. Vivian Groppe posted a time just behind Haas', running a 7.81, the 26th fastest in the field. 

The 400m was the highlight of day three at the Silver State Invitational, where, on her birthday, Annalies Kalma broke the indoor school record. Kalma ran a strong race, coming home very strong in the last two hundred meters. Kalma finished the race with a time of 52.73, beating the former school record held by Emily Costello (2023) by half a second. Kylee Parsons also ran a strong race, setting a new personal best 400m time of 55.66 to place 6th in the strong field. 

A new look 4x400m relay team showed great pace, the team of Malena Galvan, Kylee Parsons, Nayla Piper and Annalies Kalma ran the third fastest indoor 4x400m time in Wolf Pack history, running a 3:40.56, anchored by Kalma who, earlier in the day, set the 400m indoor school record. Nevada B ran a strong time of 3:53.94, showing great depth for the Pack this season. 

Triple jump rounded out competition at the Silver State Invitational, with Kaja Maltaric reaching a mark of 11.68m to place third. 

The Pack will return January 9-10 for the Silver and Blue Invitational.
