MINNEAPOLIS, Minn. - The Nevada swim and dive teams sits in second place after the third of competition. The Pack scored 332 points to add to the 530.50 points scored on the first two days giving them 862.50 total.
In the first event of the day the 400 IM,
Julia Adamczyk finished fourth overall with a time of 4:16.29, an NCAA 'B' standard time.
Wiktoria Samula took ninth with a time of 4:18.22.
Alexandra Hartman rounded out the group with a 23rd place finish.
Josien Wijkhuijs was the top finisher for the Pack in the 100 fly with a time of 54.04.
Andressa Cholodovskis brought home the silver medal in the 200 free after swimming a time of 1:47.40.
Rebecca Murray took fifth and
Caitlyn Richardson finished eighth.
Caitlyn McHugh was the fourth finisher for the Pack and helped combine for 93 points in the event.
Samula and
Donna dePolo both had NCAA 'B' standard times in the 100 breast with Samula finishing fourth and dePolo taking sixth.
Jamie Reynolds finished ninth and
Mikayla Dance took 14th. Wijkhuijs finished seventh overall in the 100 back with a time of 54.31 while
Montana Lloyd took 19th with 56.08.
In the final event of the evening, the 200-free relay comprised of Reynolds, Cholodovskis, Wijkhuijs and Murray, finished with a silver medal and a time of 1:31.22 added 56 points to the Pack.
The Mountain West Championship wraps up tomorrow with the first event beginning at 9:00 a.m. PT.
