ATLANTA, Georgia - Scarlett Ferris finished ninth in the 100 back at the second day of the 2026 NCAA Swimming and Diving Championships.
Scarlett Ferris delivered a standout performance in the 100 back, placing ninth in 50.98. Her finish marked the highest national placement by a Nevada swimmer since 2000 and made her the program's first All-American since 2015. Ferris's result earned Nevada nine team points, tying the Pack for 32nd at the end of night three, and secured her a spot on the All-America Second Team. With her finish, Ferris is the highest-placing Mountain West swimmer throughout the meet.
Nevada will continue competition tomorrow Saturday, March 21 with the 100 free and 200 fly.
