Biography
2017-18 (Jr.): One of the Pack’s versatile freestyle swimmers, having competed in three different freestyle events in her junior campaign … Tallied four top three finishes on the year, including her lone win of the season in the 100-yard breaststroke (1:04.75) in Nevada’s dual victory over Fresno State … Placed second in the 50-yard freestyle with a time of 24.18 in the Pack’s dual against perennial national power California … Part of the 200-yard freestyle relay team that recorded a 1:31.81 at the Mountain West Championship, which marks the third best time in program history … Posted the team’s third best 500-yard freestyle time of the year with her 4:58.33 mark at the Husky Invite … Letterwinner.
2016-17 (So.): Competed in all of the Pack’s regular season events, including the MW Championships … Participated in the B finals of the 50-yard freestyle and 100-yard backstroke at the conference meet, where she finished 16th and 14th, respectively … Tallied three victories against UC Davis and CSEB, Fresno State and UNLV, all of which were earned in the 50-yard freestyle … Recorded the Pack’s best time (23.19) of the season in the 50-yard freestyle at the UNLV Invitational … Posted three of the team’s top 50-yard freestyle times … Part of Nevada’s 200-yard freestyle relay team that placed sixth at the MW Championships with a time of 1:31.94 … Also part of the 200-yard medley relay team that recorded the Pack’s best time (1:40.79) of the season in that event … A Wolf Pack Scholar-Athlete … Letterwinner.
2015-16 (Fr): Joined the Wolf Pack over winter break before competing in three regular season events and the Mountain West Championships … Advanced to the B finals and placed 12th overall with a season-best time of 1:03.19 at the MW Championships … Also placed 27th in the 50 free (23.56) and 32nd in the 100 free (51.70) at the conference meet … Helped lead the Wolf Pack to an undefeated 10-0 record, the first Mountain West championship in program history and a top 25 CSCAA national ranking … Letterwinner.
PRIOR TO NEVADA
Competed for the Seals club team under coach Wayne Ridden … Represented South Africa at the 2015 Youth Commonwealth Games, where she was part of the men’s and women’s team that brought home a total of 23 medals.
