RENO, Nev. – After a perfect 6-0 record to begin the spring, the Nevada men's tennis team will be tested this weekend when it travels to play at No. 44 Cal Poly (6-3) on Saturday and No. 42 Loyola Marymount (4-2) on Sunday. Both teams are ranked by the Intercollegiate Tennis Association for the first time this season.
"After a great start to the season, we are excited to compete against two very good ranked teams," said head coach
Sylvain Malroux. "Our team has been working hard and we are looking forward to this opportunity. This will be a very good challenge that will give us experience and make us better for the future."
This season, the Wolf Pack has been dominant in doubles matches, boasting a 14-3 record and earning all six doubles points in as many matches. Senior
Robert Margitfalvi and freshman
Jeremy Merville are a perfect 6-0 as a tandem this spring, with two victories on each of the three courts.
In singles, Nevada holds a 25-11 record, with
