LOGAN, Utah -Â Nevada was swept, 4-0, at Utah State to close its opening Mountain West weekend.
Utah State (9-5, 2-0 MW) took the doubles point with wins at the top two positions for the early 1-0 lead. At No. 3, the Wolf Pack tandem of
Max Contet and
Axel Huysmans was locked in a 6-6 tie at the time of the clinch.
The Aggies took the first set of each singles match to put Nevada (8-5, 0-2 MW) into an early hole. Utah State would take straight-sets wins at spots 3-5 to finish it off.
Nevada returns home where it will host two matches next week, beginning with a Tuesday non-conference dual against Saint Mary's at 2 p.m. The Pack then hosts San Diego State in Mountain West action Sunday at 12 p.m.
