2018 Fall (So.): Followed up his strong freshman season with a 7-5 record in singles during the fall season . . . Finished the fall winning five of six, including a perfect 3-0 at the LMU Invitational . . . Went 4-6 in doubles, including a perfect 2-0 when paired with Delmas N’tcha.

2017-18 (Fr.): In his first collegiate season, led Nevada with 22 singles victories, the ninth-most in Wolf Pack history … His 14 doubles wins with Robert Margitfalvi tied for the fifth-most in Nevada history … Clinched Nevada’s 4-1 home victory over intrastate rival UNLV on court No. 4 … Recorded wins on court No. 1, 2 and 4 … Tied the team-high with four victories against conference opponents … Led the Wolf Pack with a 10-7 record in singles play while also posting a 7-4 doubles record in the fall … Began tournament play at the Aggie Invitational, winning his first four singles matches to advance all the way to the finals of the Singles B bracket … Strung together another four win streak at the Utah Intercollegiate in the Flight B singles group … In doubles play, paired with Augustin Delahodde to advance to the semifinals at the Aggie Invitational … Earned two more doubles victories with Peter O’Donovan at the Utah Intercollegiate … Lettered for the first time.

Prior to Nevada: Graduated from Ecole Diagonale in Paris, France in 2017 … Played football for seven years and rugby for three … Made it to the final in the Paris Tournament as a junior … Was a part of the Tennis Club de Paris.

Personal: Majoring in business … Son of Eric and Virginie Merville … Has five older siblings, Audrey (27) and Eric (25) Merville and Thomas (32), Romain (30) and Fanny Cherest (26) … Chose to attend Nevada because of the good level of athletics and academics … Was also recruited by University of California, University of the Pacific, University of New Orleans and University of California, Riverside … Sports heroes are Roger Federer and Teddy Riner … In his free time enjoys going out with friends, playing other sports and traveling.
