RANCHO MIRAGE, Calif. - Nevada Women's Golf closed out the 2025-26 season out, Thursday, finishing the Credit Union 1 Mountain West Women's Golf Championships in fifth place at +25 (889), led by senior Gabby Kano who placed 7th at +1. 

Playing her last competitive round for the Pack, senior Gabby Kano posted the best final round of the starting five, shooting a one under-par 71 to close out the tournament in 7th place at +1 (72-74-71=217). Kano's final round was highlighted by three birdies, all coming at par fours. Kano finished the tournament second in par four scoring and third in birdies made.

Anna Shultse posted the second best round of the day for the Pack, shooting a five over-par 77. Shultse struggled on the front nine but fought back on the back nine making two birdies to post a one under-par inward 35. Shultse finished the tournament at +7 (72-74-77=223) in 17th place. 

Marina Nonaka and Coco Kolbas both posted the final counting scores for the Pack in the final round, posting six over-par 78's. The pair posted nines of 38 (+2) and 40 (+4) and failed to record a birdie. Nonaka was the better finisher of the two, finishing in 20th place at +8 (75-71-78=224), whilst Kolbas finished in 23rd at +9 (73-74-78=225). 

Rounding out the Pack starting five was Amy Na who posted a final round seven over-par 79. Na got off to an up and down start, highlighting the round with an eagle on the par five second hole. Na finished the tournament in 42nd place at +19 (76-80-79=235). 

This event concludes the Pack's 2025-26 season and the collegiate careers of Gabby Kano and Anna Shultse, both brilliant contributrs to the program.
