Palm Desert, Calif. - Nevada Women's Golf notched its first win since 2023, winning the 2026 Mountain Classic Match Play, defeating Montana State in a scorecard playoff (total victory margin) to clutch the victory.

Coco Kolbas played a very strong match against Montana State's Maddie Montoya, making five birdies on the day, never trailing Kolbas ended the day three under par and closed the match out on hole 14, winning 5&4. 

Anna Shultse played great match play golf in her match, going three up through three holes, and then made two birdies and a lot of pars coming in to close the match out 4&2. Shultse never trailed on her route to victory. 

Hannah Stouder played very solid match play golf on the final day of her first event for the Pack, making three birdies on the day, eventually squaring the match on the last. 

Gabby Kano lost her match two down, but that didn't paint the picture of how well she played in the final. Kano did not drop a single shot, and made four birdies in the match. Her opponent however made nine birdies on the day, defeating Kano two down. 

Marina Nonaka played a back and forth match, making two birdies in the match, but succumbed to her opponent's solid play, falling 2&1 to Norah Seidl.
