2025 women's soccer schedule announced

RENO, Nev. - The 2025 schedule for Nevada women's soccer has been released, as announced by head coach Vanessa Valentine and the athletics department on Monday.

The Pack will play eight games at home and 11 on the road. A majority of non-conference match-ups will be against California teams, with three being from other states.

Nevada will kickoff its season on the road for a stretch in Arizona, taking on Arizona State for the season opener on August 14 and Northern Arizona on August 17.

Mackay Stadium will see action for the first time in the 2025 season on August 21st when Fullerton comes to town. The Pack will remain at home to host Cal Poly a week later on August 28.

Nevada will have a three-game stretch on the road at Montana (August 31), Long Beach State (September 4) and California Baptist (September 7). The Pack will close out preseason at home against Pacific on September 11.

Mountain West play will begin on September 25 when Fresno State comes to Reno. Nevada will see four more conference matches at home, including closing out the regular season hosting rival UNLV on October 30.

Nevada returns 18 players, including Olivia Loomis who tied Emily Rich last season with five goals to lead the Pack, and Mia Collins who recorded 43 saves.

"We have a lot of challenging non-conference games that will help prepare us for our Mountain West Conference," said Coach Valentine. "I always like to open with a strong opponent from a Power 4 conference such as Arizona State to test where we stand physically, mentally and technically. I am also excited for Cal State Fullerton to be returning to Nevada. Last year we lost that game to my alma matter at Fullerton, so I am excited to have them come to our home field and have a rematch in Mackay Stadium. With an experienced squad returning and the addition of five freshmen and four transfers, we will have our strongest team yet!"

Season tickets for the 2025 season are now live and can be purchased here.
