Nevada Soccer signs a transfer for the incoming 2026 class

RENO, Nev. – Nevada Women's Soccer has strengthened its 2026 attacking group with the addition of Leslie Jacobo‑Duran, the Sparks native joins the Wolf Pack after a season at San Jose State and a record‑setting career at Lake Tahoe Community College.

Jacobo‑Duran made an immediate impact in her first season at San Jose State, starting all 18 matches for the Spartans in 2025. She recorded one goal and two assists, including a three‑shot, one‑goal performance at UNLV on Sept. 25. Her work in the classroom earned her 2025 Mountain West Academic All‑Conference honors.

Before joining the Spartans, Jacobo‑Duran became one of the most decorated players in Lake Tahoe CC history. She shattered the Coyotes' all‑time scoring records with 65 goals, 53 assists, and 183 points, earning 2024 United Soccer Coaches JC All‑American recognition. A two‑time Golden Valley Conference Player of the Year, she led LTCC to a No. 1 seed in the NorCal Playoffs and a No. 6 final national ranking during her sophomore season.

A product of Reed High School in Sparks, Jacobo‑Duran was one of Northern Nevada's most dynamic prep players. She was named the Northern 5A Offensive Player of the Year in 2022 and the Northern 5A Midfielder of the Year in 2021. She also competed for Reno Apex, where she developed into a versatile and dangerous attacking threat.

Coach Evans on Jacobo-Duran: "Leslie is an exciting attacking player that has had success within the Mountain West Conference and has had tremendous success at every level. That's not by accident. Her ability to take players on and change gears, and her creativity around the box, are unique qualities. More importantly, Leslie loves the game of soccer and brings an unparalleled level of energy and enthusiasm to the field and locker-room. But perhaps most importantly, she grew up in the University of Nevada's backyard and is ready to bring her qualities home for her senior year. I'm blessed to have another opportunity to coach Leslie, and I think our fans will enjoy watching her in Mackay this fall."

Jacobo‑Duran brings elite scoring instincts and creativity in the final third. She becomes the latest addition to Nevada Women's Soccer, continuing to build momentum heading into the 2026 season.
