RENO, Nev. – Nevada Men's Tennis's
Rayen Hermassi and
Lucas Hammond were honored by College Sports Communicators (CSC) on its Men's Tennis Academic All-Region Team on Tuesday.
Hammond was also selected as a finalist for the Academic All-America Teams, which will be announced next month.
CSC awards athletes for their work in the courts and in the classroom. For a student-athlete to qualify, they must hold a sophomore academic and athletic standing, with a cumulative GPA of 3.50 or higher. Student-athletes must have competed in 70% of team competitions to be eligible.
