RENO, Nev. - Nevada Men's Tennis opens up play at the 2026 Credit Union 1 Mountain West Men's Tennis Championship Wednesday against No. 1 Utah State.

The Wolf Pack (10-10) comes into the CU1 Mountain West Championship on the heels of a dramatic 4-3 victory over No. 65 GCU in last Friday's regular-season finale at McArthur Tennis Center. Greg Valente battled back for a three-set comeback victory at No. 4 singles to clinch the win, and on Monday was named Mountain West Player of the Week.

Utah State (16-5) comes into Wednesday's quarterfinal at No. 57 in this week's ITA national rankings. The Aggies went 7-0 in Mountain West play, clinching the regular-season title and tournament No. 1 seed two weeks ago.
