RENO, Nev. - Three Nevada teams are in action at home this weekend, while a pair of Mountain West regular season title races heat up for the Wolf Pack.
Women's Tennis, in a three-way tie for first place at 6-1, faces a critical weekend in which it travels to Fresno State for a Friday morning dual then returns home to face 6-1 San José State Sunday at 12 p.m. at McArthur Tennis Center.
Men's Tennis hosts three matches this week, with non-conference clashes against Sacramento State Tuesday at 2 p.m. and UC Davis Wednesday at 1 p.m. before hosting Boise State in Mountain West play Saturday at 2 p.m.
Baseball begins a five-game home stand Tuesday, hosting Simpson University at 6:05 p.m. at Don Weir Field at Peccole Park before San José State comes to town for a weekend set. The Wolf Pack enters the weekend in second place in the Mountain West standings at 7-5, just a game back of Fresno State. The home stand conclude Monday afternoon with a 3:05 p.m. contest against San Francisco.
Softball, tied atop the Mountain West at 8-2 just about at the halfway point of the conference season, travels to San Jose to face the Spartans in a weekend set beginning Friday at 6 p.m.
Track and Field heads to Southern California for the Bryan Clay Multi event at Azusa Pacific.

Wolf Pack Men's Tennis (10-6, 1-2 MW) closes its home slate with three matches at McArthur Tennis Center. The week begins Tuesday at 2 p.m. against Sacramento State. The Hornets enter the week 9-8 with common wins with Nevada against Saint Mary's, Hawai'i, and Montana State. Nevada holds the edge over Sacramento State, defeating common opponent Montana, who the Hornets lost to.
Nevada will close its non-conference schedule on Wednesday, now being played at 2 p.m. against the UC Davis Aggies. UC Davis is 10-5 with wins over Montana State, Saint Mary's and Hawai'i. The Aggies lost to Air Force in January, 5-2; Nevada defeated the Falcons 4-3 two weeks ago.
A busy home weekend ends for Nevada on Saturday for senior day against the 17-4 Boise State Broncos. The Broncos are 3-0 in conference play defeating Utah State, UNLV, and San Diego State decidedly. Senior day is set for 1 p.m. on April 12.

Nevada (15-2, 6-1 MW) looks to break records and cement itself at the top of the Mountain West standings this week. The Pack need two wins to break the program single-season record for wins and Amahée Charrier needs one singles victory to set herself at the top of the Nevada single-season wins lists.
The Pack start the weekend in Fresno, taking on Fresno State (12-8, 4-4 MW). The Bulldogs have lost its last two matches, falling to San Diego State and UNLV at home.
Nevada will return home for Sunday's match against San José State at 12 p.m. at McArthur Tennis Center. The Spartans (15-2, 6-1 MW) are tied with Nevada at the top of the conference standings along with San Diego State. Sunday's match will play a pivotal role in deciding the regular season champion, with the possibility of clinching the title for one team, pending Friday's results across the conference.

Nevada (30-10, 8-2 MW) enters the back half of the conference schedule in a tie for the conference lead with Utah State. The Pack hopes to pull away from the Aggies with a three game series against San José State. The series opens at 6 p.m. on Friday, April 11 in San Jose. Weekend matches follow at 3 p.m. and 12 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday, respectively.
Aaliyah Jenkins heads into the series off her third straight Mountain West Player of the Week title after slugging 1.438 in five games last week. Jenkins became the first player in Nevada history to win three consecutive Player of the Week awards, and first player since 2005 to win the award in the Mountain West.
Hailey McLean was named Pitcher of the Week for the second time in a row, her fourth honor of the season.
San José State (16-20, 4-7 MW) has lost its last four in conference play, losing a pair to Fresno State and Utah State in the past two weeks. The Spartans did pick up a win in its series against Fresno State, and won its series against Colorado State the week before. San José State is led by Ahmiya Noriega and her .339 batting average. Noriega's shown her speed with 10 triples this season.

Nevada Track and Field are coming off a busy week last week, competing in the Stanford Invitational, Brutus Hamilton Invitational and the Mike Fanelli Track Classic. Records and all-time marks were set last week and the multi athletes will look for more of the same this week.
Alma Kathan, Valeria Paez-Rueda and
Johanna Haas will be the Heptathlon competitors for Nevada at the Bryan Clay Multis, they will look for success with only four regular season meets left in the outdoor season.
