For Dobie, it is his second-straight selection to the All-Mountain West First Team. The senior hit safely in 23 of 24 conference contests and finished the regular season seventh in Mountain West in batting (.381). Dobie had 10 multi-hit games, including five with at least three hits and two four-hit games. Brainard stepped up both as a reliever and a starter in conference play in his debut season with the Wolf Pack. The Littleton, Colorado native made eight appearances against Mountain West competition and paced the conference with a 2.82 earned-run average while going 4-0 with a save. Over 39.0 innings of work, Brainard struck out 48 batters, a figure that ranked third in conference play. After making his first four appearances of conference play in relief, Brainard moved into the Friday starter role, going 2-0 and posting a 2.25 ERA with 27 strikeouts over 24 innings in his four starts.
Another member of the Wolf Pack playing his debut season in Silver and Blue, Reno native
Mikey Cruz Jr. put up a career season after breaking into the lineup in March. Cruz hit safely in 19 of the 21 conference games in which he appeared, and finished the regular season fifth in the conference with a .407 average. He also ranked in the MW top 10 in doubles (10, T-third), on-base percentage (.469, seventh) and slugging (.605,10th). Cruz posted 10 multi-hit games during the Mountain West season, including one four-hit game and three with three hits.

Waller, a four-year starter for the Wolf Pack, earned his first All-Mountain West recognition with one of his best season in a Nevada uniform. Waller paced the Wolf Pack with a .409 average in conference play, a figure which ranked fourth in the Mountain West. His 36 hits in conference play were second only to Dobie's 40, and he added three homers, 20 RBIs, and an on-base percentage of .469 which shared the team lead with Cruz.
Along with his conference batting figure, Waller also ranked seventh in the Mountain West in both hits and on-base percentage. He also posted three four-hit games and three with three hits during the conference season.
