RENO, Nev. – Nevada Men's Tennis seniors
Youssef Kadiri and
Lucas Hammond each earned all-Mountain West honors on Tuesday. Kadiri was named to the all-singles list while Kadiri and Hammond were named to the all-doubles list as a pair.

Kadiri makes the Mountain West all-singles list for the first time in his career following his 25-11 season, recording the third most wins in a single season in Nevada, just two shy of tying the program record.

Posting a 10-5 record in the spring season, Kadiri played all of his spring matches at the top-flight and picked up a ranked win over No. 86 Azuma Visaya of Hawai'i.

The Casablanca, Morocco native had a historic 2024-25 season, becoming the first player in Nevada history to qualify for the NCAA Singles Championships. En route to the NCAA Championships, Kadiri defeated No. 92 ranked Dzianis Zharyn of Washington at the ITA West Sectional Championships in November.

Kadiri was won 11 straight finished doubles matches, nine of those being with his All-Mountain West doubles partner, Hammond.

Together, Kadiri and Hammond have won 21 matches, tied for the most ever in a Wolf Pack season. Kadiri and Hammond finished the spring regular season 9-0 together, winning all their matches in the top-flight.

Kadiri and Hammond went 4-0 in conference play, picking up wins against each of the top three finishers in the conference, Boise State, New Mexico, and Boise State.

The senior duo was one win away from qualifying for the NCAA Doubles Championships in the fall, with their run at the ITA West Sectional Championships ending in the semifinals. During the fall, Kadiri and Hammond defeated No. 11 ranked Wally Thayne and Zach Fuchs at the ITA Mountain Regional Championships.

Kadiri makes his second consecutive appearance on the all-Mountain West doubles list, being honored with
Matheo Coupu last season.

Kadiri and Hammond will look to break the single season wins record tomorrow when the Pack take on Air Force at the Mountain West Championships. Nevada is set to play the Falcons at 5 p.m. at Darling Tennis Center in Las Vegas, Nev.
