RENO, NEV. - The Nevada Women's Golf team is set to compete in the 2025 Credit Union 1 Mountain West Championship, held April 15–17 at the scenic Dinah Shore Tournament Course at Mission Hills Country Club in Rancho Mirage, California. The three-day tournament begins Monday, where the Wolf Pack will tee it up against a strong field of conference foes, including nationally ranked programs.
Nevada's championship lineup features a balanced mix of experience and emerging talent. The Wolf Pack will be represented by
Gabby Kano,
Nikki Chindavong,
Anna Shultse,
Raesa Sheikh, and
Payton Lovisa, with
Marina Nonaka traveling as the team's alternate. Each player has contributed to the Pack's success this spring and will look to cap off the season with a strong showing on the conference's biggest stage.
The competition will be fierce, with several Mountain West programs making noise on the national level. UNLV and San José State enter the championship ranked inside the top 50 nationally, while Colorado State, Boise State, and New Mexico are all ranked within the top 100. The field's depth ensures that every round will carry weight and every stroke will matter.
Nevada looks to build momentum early and remain consistent throughout the tournament. With a course that rewards precision and patience, the Pack will lean on its preparation, team chemistry, and leadership to rise to the challenge.
