Azusa, Calif. - Three Nevada Track and Field Multi's athletes competed on Friday at the Bryan Clay Multi's Event.
Alma Kathan, Valeria Paez-Rueda and
Johanna Haas were the three competitors for the Wolf Pack and each competed in different flights for the Heptathlon.
Alma Kathan competed in Group C, finishing the day in 10th with 2844 points. The first of her two final events was Long Jump, where 5.46m was her best mark of three jumps. In the penultimate event of the heptathlon, the Javelin event, Kathan threw 32.39m. Concluding competition for Kathan was the 800m where she did not finish.
Valeria Paez-Rueda competed in Group B, finishing the day in 6th with 3052 points. The first of her two final events was Long Jump, where 5.67m was her best mark of three jumps, a personal best. In the penultimate event of the heptathlon, the Javelin event, Kathan threw 35.14m. Concluding competition for Paez-Rueda was the 800m where she ran a 2:31.23, a personal best.
Johanna Haas competed in Group A, finishing the day in 14th with 2571 points. Haas did not compete on the final day.
The Pack will be back in Azusa next week for the Bryan Clay Invitational.
