2025 NCAA Zone E Diving Championships
Monday-Wednesday, March 10-12
Salt Lake City, Utah - Weyerhauser King County Aquatic Center
RENO, Nev. -Â Nevada divers
Bailey Heydra and
Lucia Gabino, coming off of a Mountain West meet in which they combined for four medals, begin their road to qualification for the 2025 NCAA Championships Monday at the NCAA Zone E Diving Championships in Federal Way, Wash.
Heydra, Mountain West gold medalist on 1-Meter Springboard, and silver medalist on both 3-Meter Springboard and Platform, will compete in all three events at the event, while Gabino, Mountain West 3-Meter bronze medalist, will compete on 3-Meter Springboard and Platform.
Both will be seeking their first-career berth at the national meet.
The Zone E meet begins Monday with 3-Meter Springboard, continues Tuesday with Platform, and concludes with 1-Meter Springboard Wednesday. Prelims begin each day at 11:30 a.m. The top 18 divers advance to the afternoon finals, and all scores carry over to the next segment for each event.
This year, Zone E will have eight qualifying spots on each springboard event, and nine on platform on the women's side. Finishing within those spots in a respective event earns a diver a bid to the 2025 NCAA Swimming & Diving Championships, set for March 19-22 in Federal Way.
