LOS ANGELES, Calif. — Nevada Women's Swimming & Diving wrapped up a competitive two-day meet at UCLA with standout performances across both the boards and the pool highlighted by Senior Bailey Heydra's sweep of the springboard events and a record-breaking swim from Scarlett Ferris.
Heydra opened the weekend by taking first place in both the 1-meter and 3-meter dives, giving the Pack early momentum heading into Saturday's full slate of races. Nevada carried that energy into the pool on day two, beginning with a strong second-place finish in the 200-yard medley relay, where Ferris, Sara Mihalic, Moji Pholjamjumrus, and Evie Floate combined for a time of 1:39.85.
Kiera-Lee Allott followed with a second-place performance in the 1650-yard freestyle, touching in 16:59.90, before Huska Batbayar added another runner-up finish in the 200-yard freestyle at 1:46.62. Ferris continued her strong day with a second-place result in the 50-yard freestyle, and Pholjamjumrus kept Nevada on the podium with a second-place swim in the 200-yard individual medley in 2:00.42.
Floate added a 51.35 finish in the 100-yard freestyle, and the Pack showed depth in the 100-yard butterfly by securing fourth, fifth, and sixth place in a tightly contested heat. One of the defining moments of the meet came shortly after, when Ferris surged to a first-place finish in the 100-yard backstroke with a time of 50.78, breaking both her own Nevada program record and her own Mountain West Conference All-Time record. Nevada continued to collect podium finishes as Batbayar earned second in the 500-yard freestyle in 4:49.44, and Mihalic placed third in the 100-yard breaststroke with a time of 1:02.31.
The Pack closed the meet with a strong third-place finish in the 200-yard freestyle relay, where Batbayar, Floate, Von Seggern, and Vagg combined for a time of 1:33.79. With the regular-season slate now complete, Nevada turns its attention to the Mountain West Championships, set for February 18–21 in Houston.
