RENO, Nev. - Nevada Cross Country athlete Austin Key earned Mountain West Men's Cross Country Athlete of the Week honors, the Mountain West announced, Tuesday. 

Junior Austin Key opened the season with a school record time of 23:23.7 to place fourth at the Saint Mary's College Invite, breaking his personal best by over 40 seconds. Key led the team to a fifth place finish and earned the highest finish of his Wolf Pack career. This is the first time in Nevada Cross Country program history that an athlete has recieved this honor. 

The Pack will next be in action October 3 for the Charles Bowl Invite hosted by Willamette in Salem, Oregon.
