Reno, Nev. - The 60m Hurdles kicked off Day 3 of the Nevada Invitational/Multis hosted by Nevada at the Reno-Sparks Convention Center. The Wolf Pack had one athlete, Johanna Haas, in the silver section. She ran an 8.84 to place 16th in a strong section. In the Blue Section were Savana Chalmers and Oke Gift Ovedje who both set personal bests, Chalmers making it to the final with a 9.04, placing her 3rd and Ovedje finishing in 10th with a time of 9.19. The final was tightly contested but Chalmers came in 7th with a time of 9.14.

The 60m Dash Silver Section saw one Nevada athlete compete, Oke Gift Ovedje, where she set her second PR of the day. Ovedje set a time of 7.76 to finish in 15th. 

Triple Jump was next up and Meekness Dogonyaro continued her strong start to the year, jumping out to 12.97m on her third jump of the heat, winning the heat in dominating fashion, by over 80 centimeters. This jump for Dogonyaro gives her the 2nd best mark in Nevada School History, jumping ahead of Rayven Nealey, an all time Nevada Track & Field great. Freshman Kaja Maltaric got out to 11.45m placing her in 10th. Dognoyaro continued her domination in the final, not bettering her 12.97m mark but getting close with a 12.95m mark on her last jump of the day. 

In the Mile Natalia Martino placed 4th with a time of 5:08.09 running a strong race against some strong competition. 

The 4x400 rounded out the Nevada Invitational for the Wolf Pack, with Nevada A (Holt, Ovedje, Diaz, Harris) running a time of 3:55.94 to put them in 12th place overall. 

Nevada Track & Field will be back in action on Feb 7-8 for the Wolf Pack Classic at the Reno-Sparks Convention Center for the last home meet of the indoor season.
