Max Contet was awarded the first Mountain West Freshman of the Week award of the season.

Contet takes home the title after a 4-2 week to start the dual season. The Cag-nes-Sur, France native opened his dual career with a 6-1 doubles victory over Hawai'i Pacific with partner Paul Théate. He backed up his doubles win with a 5-7. 6-1, [10-7] singles victory.

Contet picked up an important singles win at Hawai'I, 6-3, 6-4, to help lead Nevada to a 4-3 victory.

He finished his award-winning week with a 7-6 (6), doubles win against UC Santa Barbara to clinch the doubles point for the Wolf Pack.
