Nevada soccer’s 2024 Mountain West schedule set

RENO, Nev. - Nevada soccer officially has its Mountain West matchups for the 2024 season.

Nevada will play six home matches at Mackay Stadium in conference play starting Oct. 3, which includes hosting the defending Mountain West champions Utah State in the home finale Oct. 27. The Pack will also host the rematch of last year's Mountain West Quarterfinal against Boise State Oct. 24.

Season tickets for the 2024 Nevada soccer campaign are now on sale, starting at just $55. Adult season tickets start at only $55 for all home games while youth season tickets start at just $30. The Family 4-Pack, in which holders receive four general admission season tickets for every 2024 home match, is just $140. Fans can purchase their 2024 Nevada soccer season tickets and 4-Packs at MyNevadaTickets.com or by calling 775-348-PACK (7225).

"Our program made a tremendous jump last year with our first Mountain West Championships appearance in a decade. This year our expectations are even higher," head coach Vanessa Valentine said. "We know the competition in the Mountain West is tough every year and we are ready for the challenge ahead. With our new era of Nevada soccer under way, we encourage the Reno/Tahoe community to come out and support us in our quest for a Mountain West title."

Nevada begins the conference portion of its 2024 schedule on the road Sept. 26 at last year's regular season champions, San Diego State. The Wolf Pack will continue its road trip Sunday, Sept. 29 at New Mexico.

Starting the home portion of its Mountain West schedule Thursday, Oct. 3, Nevada will host a pair of matches at Mackay Stadium against Air Force (Oct. 3) and Colorado College (Oct. 6). The Wolf Pack hit the road again for a two-match road swing at San José State (Oct. 10) and at Fresno State (Oct. 13).

Nevada's four-match homestand at Mackay Stadium begins Thursday, Oct. 17 against Wyoming, following up with a match against last year's conference championship finalist Colorado State (Oct. 20). The rematch of Nevada's 2023 Mountain West Quarterfinal match against Boise State is set for Oct. 24 while the home finale against NCAA Tournament qualifier, Utah State, takes place Sunday, Oct. 27. The Pack completes the conference portion of its schedule at UNLV Thursday, Oct. 31 in the Silver State Series presented by America First Credit Union.

Match times are to be determined unless otherwise noted. Nevada soccer will reveal the non-conference portion of its schedule at a later date.

The 2024 campaign marks the second for the Pack under Valentine. Nevada is coming off one of the best turnaround seasons in program history in Valentine's debut season, collecting its most wins since 2015 (six) and qualifying for its first Mountain West Tournament since 2013.

In addition to a core of veteran players to go with three Division I transfers for the 2024 season, Nevada returns three-time All-Mountain West forward Emily Rich and 2023 All-Mountain West Newcomer Team goalkeeper Ally Larkin.
