FRESNO, Calif. – The Wolf Pack wrapped the second and final day of the Fresno Invitational at Veterans Memorial Stadium with numerous personal records and all-time list appearances, concluding their last regular season meet of the outdoor schedule, moving their sights toward the 2024 Outdoor Mountain West Championships May 9-11, competing once again in Fresno.

To kick off the day,
Alyssa Carson placed first in the pole vault section one with a new personal record mark of 3.86 meters, making her first all-time list appearance to sit 10
th in the event.
Samantha Irwin and
Shayla Pedersen both reached a height of 3.41 meters, placing fourth and fifth respectively.
Camrin Dolcini competed in the pole vault invitational section where she claimed seventh with a mark of 3.76 meters.

In the triple jump, the trio made up of Rayven Nelaey,
Meekness Dogonyaro, and
Maria Paz Milani all competed in the final of the event after their preliminary performances. Nealey recorded a third-place finish with a new personal record mark of 12.91 meters, remaining third all-time in Nevada school history. Dogonyaro (12.48m) and Paz Milani (12.27m) finished fifth and sixth respectively. Â

Representing in the long jump,
Valeria Paez Rueda (5.31m) was eighth and
Johanna Haas (4.03m) was 17
th.

The 800 meters was led by
Kylee Denver, who raced her way to a third-place overall finish and a new personal record of 2:12.24.
Mary DeMartini (2:20.40) was 16
th.

Magdalene George had an exceptional day, recording new personal records in the 100 meters and 200 meters. In the 100 meters, George came away with a third-place finish, running a time of 11.41, moving to second all-time in Nevada school history. In the 200 meters, George took the crown in the event, running a mark of 23.22 to remain third all-time.

Following George in the 100 meters,
Natasha Chetty secured a seventh-place finish and ran a new personal record of 11.92, coming just outside the Nevada all-time list. In 13
th,
Annalies Kalma ran a personal record time of 12.14.
Kylee Parsons secured the Pack's final finish in the top-20, boasting a new personal best time of 12.21. Bonét Henderson (12.22),
Sarah Marske (12.39), and Lilly Gregg (12.40) recorded 19
th, 26
th, and 27
th.

In the 200 meters, the Pack also had a handful of solid performances. Behind George was Henderson in a time of 24.20 where she finished seventh, followed by Kalma, who tied her eighth all-time mark of 24.22, placing eighth. Parsons ran a Nevada personal best time of 24.96 (19
th) while Gregg was 20
th in a time of 25.08. Rounding out the Wolf Pack representatives in the event were Haas (25.30) and
Jasmine Harris (26.73) with 21
st and 40
th place finishes.

Harris also competed individually in the 400 meters where she finished 11
th with a new personal record time of 58.32.

OkeOghene Ovedje put herself on the Nevada all-time list in the 400 hurdles after her performance Saturday afternoon. Ovedje crossed the finish line in third overall with a time of 1:00.75, becoming seventh all-time in Nevada school history.
Kylie Burton sped her way to a season best time of 1:02.23.
Melia Middleton (1:02.39) secured ninth and
Leylah Diaz (1:04.76) ran her way to a new personal record, finishing 17
th.

In the 100-meter hurdles,
Sarah Marske came in third place overall with a time of 13.84. Ovedje earned her second personal record of the day with a time of 14.71, crossing the finish line in just two spots behind Marske in fourth. Haas (15.02) came in ninth and Paez Rueda (15.19) finished ninth.
Misa Holland rounded out the group, coming in 14
th (15.43).

Nevada's 'B' squad in the 4x100 meter relay made up of Gregg, Parsons, Burton, and Harris came away with a sixth-place finish in a time or 47.72. In the 4x400 meter relay, all three Wolf Pack squads ran times under the four-minute mark. The 'A' team (Kalma, Parsons, Henderson, Gregg) were able to move up their spot on the Nevada all-time list from seventh to fourth all-time, running a 3:42.32, placing second behind Mountain West rival Fresno State, who won the event in a time of 3:39.96. The 'B' quad (Burton, Ovedje, George, Middleton) ran a time of 3:46.10, finishing fourth, and rounding out the teams, Nevada's 'C' group (Diaz, Denver, DeMartini, and Harris) posted a time of 3:55.96, ultimately finishing eighth.

Emily Poole led the way for Nevada in javelin, recording her furthest mark and new personal record (48.07m) to place third in the event and move up to seventh all-time in school history. Coming in third,
Lilly Urban bested her previously set Nevada personal record, reaching her furthest mark on her second attempt with 47.95 meters, becoming eighth all-time in school history.
Hallee Hughes (45.94m) claimed fifth and was the last Nevada athlete who made it to the final in the event.
Izzy Steerman (39.64m) was 12
th, Haas (36.49m) was 18
th, and rounding out the Pack was Paez Rueda in 21
st (34.35m) and
Alia Minoletti (29.20m) in 29

In the final track event of the day for the Pack,
Madelyn Shipman came away with the highest finish, as she secured a five-second personal record time of 4:36.46. In ninth was
Claire Nelson who was just off her personal record time she set two weeks ago at the Bryan Clay Invitational, running a time of 4:39.60.
Natalia Martino (4:42.71) and
Hannah Lee (4:44.65) finished 10
th and 12

With the regular season coming to a close, the Wolf Pack will now focus their efforts on the postseason, first with the Outdoor Mountain West Championships in two weeks, where they will travel back to Fresno May 9-11 to compete at Veterans Memorial Stadium for the second time this season. After the conference championships, Nevada will attempt to qualify athletes to the NCAA Championships in back-to-back seasons at the NCAA West Preliminaries, hosted by Arkansas in Fayetteville May 22-25. The NCAA Outdoor Championships are hosted in Eugene, Oregon June 5-8.
