Annalies Kalma secured her second individual indoor Nevada all-time mark in the 200 meters to rank seventh in school history to highlight the first day of the Don Kirby Invitational Friday afternoon.

Kalma lowered her personal record to a time of 24.47, now holding indoor all-time marks in two individual events (200 meters, 400 meters) and the 4x400 meter relay. Of the 11 athletes that competed in the unseeded 200 meters, nine of the women saw new personal records. Coming in within the top-40 was
Sarah Marske in 35
th with a time of 24.89, marking the first time she's been under the 25 second benchmark individually in her career.
Natasha Chetty (24.99) claimed 42
nd and was the last athlete under 25 seconds in the event.
"We moved the needle today, and I'm really proud of the way everyone competed," said head coach
Shantel Twiggs. "We had several personal bests and Annalies made the Nevada All-Time List. Bring on day two because we are poised for great things."Â

Kylee Parsons in a time of 25.03, remaining consistent and lowering her personal record in each of the three meets of the indoor season so far.
Madison Kalberer (25.37) and
Magdalene George (25.39) finished 58

th (25.80), marking the last athlete in the 25 second range.

In the invitational 200 meters section, Bonét Henderson saw a season best time of 24.78, only seven one hundredths off her personal record (24.71).

In the afternoon,
Rayven Nealey represented the Pack solo in flight six of the long jump where she finished 31
st overall with a season best mark of 5.74. In the morning flights,
Maria Paz Milani led the way to claim 45
th with a mark of 5.58 meters, tying her personal record.
Valeria Paez Rueda saw a new personal record mark of 5.45 meters, finishing 60
th, besting her previous mark from last weekend at the Riverfront Invitational.
Natasha Chetty (5.45m) and
Kate Kadrmas (5.07m) placed 45
th and 92
nd respectively.

All four athletes representing the Pack in the unseeded 400m meters sped their way to new personal records.
Melia Middleton saw the highest finish for the Pack coming in at 11
th overall, running a mark of 56.43, breaking her previous mark (57.32) from last weekend's Riverfront Invitational.
Madison Kalberer claimed a 32
nd place finish (57.84), also besting her previous time from the Riverfront Invitational.
Natasha Chetty was 41
st (58.52) and
Mary DeMartini finished 62
nd (1:03.79).

In the 600 meters, the Nevada duo made up of
Kylie Burton (1:39.57) and
Leylah Diaz (1:41.20) ran the event for the first time in either of their collegiate careers, finishing ninth and 10
th.
