HONOLULU, Hawaii. – Nevada Softball heads to Honolulu this week to kick off its 2024 season at the Paradise Classic hosted by University of Hawaii. The Pack will face Kansas City twice, host team Hawai'i, BYU, and Ole Miss.

Missouri- Kansas City (9-43, 4-17 Summit League)
- Nevada leads the all-time series, 1-0, commanding a 12-0 victory over the Roos at a neutral site in 2008.
Hawai'i (30-23, 13-14 Big West)
- The Rainbow Warriors finished the 2023 season in fifth in the Big West conference.
- Hawai'i leads the all-time series, 24-21, most recently facing each other in the Malihini Kipa Aloha Tournament in 2020, splitting the two games they played.
BYU (35-17, 11-4 WCC)
- The Cougars finished the 2023 season in second in the WCC.
- BYU leads the all-time series, 7-3, with the Cougars consecutively winning the last four. The Pack is 3-4 against the Cougars at neutral sides.
Ole Miss (32-28, 8-16 SEC)
- The Rebels are coming off a NCAA Regional final in Salt Lake, falling to the Utes, 4-1.
- This marks the first meeting between the Pack and the Rebels.
NOTES
- The Pack is returning a majority of its 2023 roster, with the addition of 6 newcomers, in 4 freshman and 2 transfers.
- Last week, Nevada was picked to finish fifth in the 2024 Mountain West Preseason Coaches Poll.
- Chelie Senini was named to the All-Mountain West Preseason Team, announced Jan. 31 and All-Mountain West First Team following the 2023 season.
- Aaliyah Jenkins was named to the All-Mountain West Second Team following the 2023 season.
- Senini holds the Nevada and Mountain West record for most career stolen bases (128) as well as in a single season (50), breaking her own record of 48 in 2022. Gilliano (24) M. Clark(23), and A. Jenkins(17) also hold top spots in stolen bases this past season.
- Returning three letter winning pitchers in two fifth years, and one senior.
- Carley Brown is top-10 all-time in lowest ERA (3.30) heading into the season.
- Blake Craft is currently seventh all-time in strikeouts (260).

Season tickets for youth (8th grade and under) start at just $25 while the Family Four Pack (two adults, two youth) are $150. Students receive free admission with their Wolf Card.
