JACKSON, Wyo. – Freshman standouts
Erica Lynch and
Jessica Blackburn both captured podium finishes on the second day of the giant slalom event at the Western Region Tech Elite Series, marking Lynch's first collegiate win and Blackburn's first collegiate podium finish Tuesday afternoon.

Lynch started off the day sitting in third after the first run (51.34) while Blackburn rounded out the top-10 in eighth. The second run allowed the Pack to capitalize on their first run performances, with Lynch capturing the gold medal and Blackburn taking the bronze. Sullivan climbed up in the standings from 15
th after the first run to result in tying for fifth overall after finishing the second run with the fourth-fastest time (51.62).
Elle Murphy finished 17
th.

Coming off a podium finish Monday afternoon,
Jeger Halbjorhus posted a second place ranked first run (46.95) to set him up well for later in the day.
Ulrik Danielsen and
Engebret Halbjorhus snuck their way into the top-10 after tying for 10
th place (47.94) in the first run. Just below,
Ryan Herhusky sat in 14
th while
Jules Baur was 21
st.

J. Halbjorhus finished the second run with the eighth-fastest time (50.00), securing third overall, marking his second podium of the week. E. Halbjorhus recorded the fourth fastest ranked second run in the field (49.63) to help him jump up within the top-10, finishing sixth. Herhusky earned the 11
th fastest run in the field, allowing him to move up three spots and finish 11
th.
