LAS VEGAS, Nev. – Nevada Women's Tennis will kick off the 2023 Mountain West Championship against the Fresno State Bulldogs Wednesday at the Darling Tennis Center in Las Vegas, starting at 10 a.m. PT.

Wednesday's match will be the Pack's chance at redemption against the Bulldogs after Fresno State came to Reno in early April and got the 4-2 victory. The winner of Wednesday's match will move on the quarterfinal, taking on the No. 2 seed UNLV on Thursday at 10 a.m. PT. The Pack faced the Rebels last weekend in Las Vegas, UNLV went on to win the match 4-0.

The Pack (9-9, 4-6 MW) finished the regular season in seventh place overall, bettering their seeding from last season when the squad finished ninth overall. This season, Nevada has shown strengths in singles play by junior
Lou-Anne Guerbert (12-1 overall, 5-1 MW) and freshman
Audrey Moutama (18-5 overall, 6-1 MW). In doubles, the pairing of Moutama and
Mariana Campino had a solid outing in the regular season, going 7-3 overall and picking up three victories in conference play.
