Box Score RENO, Nev. - Nevada Women's Tennis closed out its homestand on Sunday, taking down Colorado State, 4-0.
The Pack (6-7, 2-2 MW) started the afternoon winning the doubles point over the Rams (4-11, 0-4 MW). Amahée Charrier and
Petra Janigova took the first doubles match for the Pack, defeating Diana Lizarazo and Leyla Tozin, 6-3.
Silvia-Maria Costache and
Marlene Foerster came from behind to take down Sorcha Caves and Annika Planinsek, 6-4, securing the doubles point to give Nevada an early 1-0 lead.Â
Charrier then put the Pack up, 2-0, after taking down Caves, 6-0, 6-2. Nevada continued its day strong as Robinson beat Tozin, 6-2, 6-1. Boubaker rounded out the sweep, defeating L. Voeks, 6-3, 6-4, to secure the 4-0 win for the Pack.Â
Nevada will head out on the road to face Boise State on Friday and Utah State on Sunday, both at 10 a.m. PT.Â
