DILLON, Colo. – Sophomore Iver Naess led the way for the Wolf Pack on day one of the Denver Invitational, securing a 12
th place finish in the men's slalom Saturday.

Naess's first run (45.79) put him in a solid spot, finishing in 19
th. His second run (47.52) allowed him to move up, posting the sixth fastest time in the field, ultimately moving up in the ranks and securing the 12
th place spot, just outside the top 10. This season Naess has earned three top-10 finishes, two of those on the podium during the Western Region Elite in January.

Georgie Sullivan paved the way for the women's slalom, earning 41
st with an overall time of 1:36.94 with teammate
Tiia Nurminen crossing the finish line right behind her in 42
nd with a time of 1:37.05.
Elle Murphy finished 50
th (1:44.42).

The Pack wraps up their weekend long competition slate Sunday for day two of the Denver Invitational. Both the men and women will be competing in slalom.
