HANOVER, N.H. -Â Nevada skiers
Iver Walday Naess and
Jeger Halbjoerhus competed in Giant Slalom Friday on the final day of alpine racing at the 2025 NCAA Skiing Championships.
Combined, Naess and Halbjoerhus earned 11 points for the Wolf Pack, bringing Nevada's total on the team standings to 38.5 points, good for 15th place overall.
With the field battling rough and rainy conditions Friday, Naess finished 23rd on Giant Slalom with Halbjoerhus taking 28th.
After their first runs, Naess and Halbjoerhus sat 24th and 29th, respectively, and with conditions worsening, it was difficult to make up much ground on the second runs.
Final team standings will be official following Saturday's freestyle skiing competition.
