RENO, Nev. – Nevada softball announced its 2024 spring schedule, interim head coach
Marina Demore announced Tuesday. The slate includes 13 home games at Christina M. Hixson field.

The Wolf Pack begins its campaign under Demore's first season at the helm. The team opens with 24-straight on the road, competing in five consecutive tournaments and 21 conference games. The Pack will have 13 home games including two midweek non-conference doubleheaders. The Pack will be on the road for 11 games after the 24 tournament contests.

Prices for 2024 season tickets will be $65 for General Admission, $55 for Senior, and $25 for youth (8
th grade and younger). Family 4-packs can be purchased for $150.
"February 8 begins five weeks of non-conference play on the road," said interim head coach Marina Demore. "We are very excited to hit the ground running starting in Hawaii this year where we play two of the 2023 regional qualifiers. Pre-season play provides us with ample opportunity to build confidence and continue to connect as a team in preparation for a competitive Mountain West Season."Â
The team will start the season on the road at the Hawai'i tournament, where they will face BYU, Hawai'i, UMKC, and Ole Miss Feb. 8-10. The Pack will then travel to Santa Clara, Calif. Feb 15-18 facing Portland State, Fordham, Seattle U, and host Santa Clara.

Continuing its tournament slate, the team will head to the Pacific tournament, facing Stony Brook, Creighton, and host team Pacific. The Pack will play in the UC Riverside tournament March 1-3 facing host UC Riverside and Southern Utah.

For the final away tournament of the season, the Pack will stop at Stanford on March 8 to take on the Cardinal before heading to the Fresno State tournament on March 9-11. The Pack will face CSUN, North Dakota, San Diego, and Rutgers.

The Pack begins Mountain West play against Fresno State March 15-17. Nevada's home weekend series start times will be 3 P.M. on Fridays, 1 P.M. on Saturdays, and 12 P.M. on Sundays, with a few exceptions to be noted.

The Pack will be back on the road at Colorado State March 22-24
, then return home for a four-game home stand facing Saint Mary's in a non-conference doubleheader March 26 at 1 P.M. Returning to conference play, the Pack will face New Mexico March 28-30.

The Pack heads to Logan, Utah, for a midweek doubleheader facing Utah State then returning to Hixson to take on San José State in a two-game series, April 6-7. The Pack will then head to Las Vegas to take on in-state rival UNLV in a three-game slate April 12-14.

Nevada returns home for a four-game home stand starting with a midweek doubleheader against Sacramento State, April 16. The Pack will kick off a three-game series against the reigning Mountain West regular-season champions, Boise State, April 19-21

Nevada wraps up its last four games of the regular season on the road. The Pack will head to home of the 2023 Mountain West Tournament Champion, San Diego State in a three-game series, April 26-28, with start times
TBA. The Pack will round out the regular season at Cal on May 1.

BACK WITH THE PACK
The Pack will return nearly the entire roster from the 2023 season, including first team All-Mountain West
Chelie Senini, and second team All-Mountain West,
Aaliyah Jenkins.

Senini broke her own school and conference record for most stolen bases in a season last year with 50 in 59 attempts. She was a crucial factor in the teams explosive offense with a batting average of .356 in 149 plate appearances and an OPS of .882, starting in every game for the Pack. Jenkins recorded a .281 batting average in 153 plate appearances with an OPS of 1.008 and started in every game. She recorded 12 home runs and 12 doubles with 54 RBI.

Blake Craft (4-4, 4.33 ERA, 39 K),
Carley Brown (4-5, 29 K, 4.92 ERA) and reliever
Tyra Clary (2 saves in 34.1 IP, 22 K).

NEW TO THE PACK
Nevada welcomed six in the offseason in
Ainsley Berlingeri (RHP),
Taryn Irimata (RHP),
Taryn Jenkins (OF/UTL),
Matlyn Leetch (OF/IF),
Bailie Clark (OF), and
Avery Cordell (1B). Jenkins adds to the speed of the team ranking third in stolen bases from her previous school. Irimata was named Hawaii's 2023 Gatorade Player of the Year, posting a 1.37 ERA with 124 strikeouts against 10 walks in 97 innings for James Campbell High School.
