RENO, Nev. - Nevada is back home for homecoming week, with football, soccer, volleyball and women's basketball all playing at home. Here is what is happening this week in Wolf Pack Athletics.Â
SOCCER
Nevada soccer will play one of the biggest matches in recent memory for the program, with a Mountain West Tournament bid on the line for the Pack in Thursday's match at 7 p.m. against UNLV. A victory in the Silver State Series presented by America First Credit Union will give the Pack their first Mountain West Tournament bid since 2013 and its first appearance since the conference moved to the six-team tournament format.Â
Tickets for Thursday's match are just $1 in honor of needing just one more win during the regular season. Fans are encouraged to arrive early to Mackay Stadium for a pre-game ceremony honoring the 2023 Nevada soccer senior class.Â
