Pack Wraps up Fall Season at Visit Stockton Pacific Invitational

STOCKTON, Calif. - The Nevada Men's Golf team closed out the 2023 fall season Wednesday afternoon at the Visit Stockton Pacific Invitational by carding a team score of 282 (-6), marking their best single-round score of the event. The Pack finished 14th on the final team leaderboard with a three-round score of 867 (+3).

Supakit (Oak) Seelanagae closed out what was a strong fall season by finishing first in the Nevada lineup and tied for 28th overall at -3 for the event. Seelanagae carded a 70 (-2) for the final round after tallying 12 pars, four birdies, and just two bogeys. 

Keita Okada had an exceptional final round, matching his best single round score of the fall season with a 68 (-4), placing him in a tie for 31st overall at -2. Okada recorded 12 pars, five birdies, and just one bogey throughout the stellar final round performance. 

After carding a 79 on Tuesday, freshman Jonathan Kim bounced back to record a score of 71 (-1) for the third round after accumulating a career-best 15 pars, in addition to two birdies. Kim finished the event tied for 57th on the individual leaderboard at +4. 

Tom Patterson tallied 11 pars and four birdies on his way to carding a 73 (+1) for the final round. He finished the tournament tied with Kim in the 57th position on the leaderboard at +4. 

Ryan Sear rounded out the Wolf Pack lineup, carding a 78 (+6) for the third round, placing him in a tie for 92nd overall. 

Competing as an individual participant, Liam Gobin had a strong performance for the second consecutive day, recording a score of 71 (-1) after tallying 13 pars and three birdies. Gobin advanced eight spots on the leaderboard Wednesday, as he completed the event tied for 57th. 

Also competing as an individual participant, freshman Aaron Leach shot a 79 (+7) to close out the event tied for 89th.

The conclusion of the Visit Stockton Pacific Invitational marks the end of the 2023 fall season for the Pack. Nevada will return to the course in the spring to begin the championship portion of their season.
