RENO, Nev. - Nevada Wolf Pack teams take the show on the road following an eventful home stretch of games in Reno last week. Here is what is happening this week in Wolf Pack Athletics.
Soccer
After a massive Mountain West win over conference standings leader San Diego State Sunday, Nevada soccer is looking to keep in command for its bid to the Mountain West tournament. The Pack are looking for their first bid to the Mountain West tournament since 2013 and its first bid since the conference moved to the six-team format for postseason play. Nevada already has six wins in 2023, its most since 2015.
Junior forward
Emily Rich notched her second career two-goal match and her first since Oct. 3, 2021 in Sunday's 3-2 victory at Mackay Stadium. Rich is now sixth in program history in career goals (12) and career points (35).
The Pack travel to Boise State, currently the co-leader in the conference standings, Thursday at 6 p.m. Nevada will play its final regular season road match Sunday at Utah State, who upset No. 1 nationally ranked BYU earlier this year.

Football
Nevada (0-6, 0-2 MW) makes its only road trip of October this week, heading to Southern California to face San Diego State (3-4, 1-2 MW). Saturday's contest will air on FS2, with Dan Hellie (play-by-play) and Robert Smith (analyst) on the call.
The Wolf Pack Radio Network will call the game on KOZZ 105.7 FM in Northern Nevada, and online at www.thevarsitynetwork.com and on the Varsity Network app. John Ramey (play-by-play) and Mike Edwards (analyst) will be in the booth, with the 60-minute pregame show to begin at 5 p.m. PT.

Swim
Swim is on the road at a tri meet hosted by UC Davis. The Pack will compete against the Aggies as well as the Cal State Easy Bay Pioneers. The meet starts at 12 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 21. This is the second meet of the season, after the Pack competed at San Jose State relay meet, falling short of the Spartans.

Volleyball
After going 2-0 on the weekend at Virginia Street Gym against UNLV and San Diego State, the Pack travel to Wyoming to take on the 14-5 Cowgirls Thursday, Oct. 19 at 5:30 p.m. PT. The squad will then return to Reno for a matchup against the 11-8 Colorado State Rams Saturday, Oct. 21 at 12 p.m. Saturday's match is "Pack Goes Pink," and the first 100 fans will receive an exclusive Nevada pink flag.

Women's Tennis
Nevada travels to Salt Lake City for the ITA Mountain Regional Championships beginning Wednesday, Oct. 18 and runs through Sunday, Oct. 22. The Wolf Pack will look to continue the success they've had throughout the fall season. Six members of the Pack will make the trip to Utah.
