STOCKTON, Calif. - The Nevada Men's Golf team concluded the second round of play in 15th place at the Visit Stockton Pacific Invitational after carding a team score of 299 (+11).
Supakit (Oak) Seelanagae once again led the way for the Pack, carding a 73 (+1) on Tuesday after tallying 11 pars and three birdies. Seelanagae enters the third and final round tied for 29th on the individual leaderboard.
Keita Okada matched Seelanagae's 73 (+1), marking the senior's second consecutive round carding a 73. Okada recorded nine pars and four birdies throughout the second round, and he is tied 46th overall at +2.
Tom Patterson finished third in the Wolf Pack lineup on Tuesday, recording a score of 74 (+2) for the second round. Patterson accumulated eight pars and four birdies across the second set of 18 holes. The senior heads into the final round tied for 52nd overall.
Freshman Jonathan Kim shot 79 (+7) on Tuesday, placing him in a tie for 65th at +5, and Ryan Sear carded an 81 (+9) and is tied for 92nd overall.
Competing as an individual participant, Liam Gobin had an exceptional day, recording a score of 70 (-2) after tallying eight pars and a single-round season-high six birdies. Gobin is tied for 65th at +5 entering the third round.
Also competing as an individual participant, freshman Aaron Leach shot a 75 (+3) on Tuesday, placing him in a tie for 80th overall at +7.
Nevada is set to return to the course tomorrow morning for the third and final round of the Visit Stockton Pacific Invitational, with tee times beginning at 7:30 a.m.
